Large -diameter auger: thanks to a large-diameter auger with larger flighting, it allows for increased and improved feeding capacity.
Open-profile frame: provides better visibility (facilitating crop flow control) and improves the handling of long-stemmed crops. The frame is designed to simplify hitching and unhitching the cutting header.
Header /machine coupling: the cutting headers are hitched by a centralized multiple coupling system for all electric and hydraulic controls. This makes hitching a quick, simple and precise operation.
Hydrostatically driven pickup reel: it is equipped with newly designed tines, anti-clogging blades (Schumacher system) and simplified drives. This combination of components improves balance and the efficiency of the pickup reel on laid crops and is practically zero maintenance.
The cutting header ensures a consistent head first feed of material of all crop types through the innovation of the powered belt system, for greater threshing ability.
Powered Belt System: the one meter length between the knife and auger, allow for improved performance and visibility. Tall and short crops can be cut and easily transported directly underneath the auger by the revolving power belt at a constant speed, increasing the productivity of the machine.
Reel: the hydraulic reel can be regulated to 3 different positions, high enough to reach taller crops and low enough to allow the reel tines to reach below the knife making it reliable in crop pick-up even in laid conditions.
Knife: the exclusive Schumacher system guarantees a higher cutting strength, precision, and a 1,220 rpm working speed even on green or damp crops. The strong and reliable gear box vibrates less therefore, less wear on the cutting header. The blades of the knife are double supported, constantly sharp and self cleaning, therefore more difficult crops like oil seed rape, peas and rye are tackled with ease.
Oil Seed Rape: exclusive design of the Power Belt allows efficient collection of rapeseed without having to employ an additional kit, but simply installing optional side knives, where the crop dividers attach.
Crop Dividers: the standard Torpedo foldable crop dividers were engineered for all types of crops and conditions. The assembly is quick and simple, not requiring the use of any tools. The unique design make it possible to fold the dividers making it easier to transport on the road.
The model M 180 is equipped with the "L" type cutting header and the Schumacher system. The reel, with its exclusive double side star configuration and strong tubes carrying adjustable tines, ensures fail-safe harvesting and feeding even with flattened crops. The cutting blade achieves the utmost efficiency thanks to the high speed rotating transmission and exclusive self-cleaning system. The auger has tough flights and retracting fingers along its entire length, while the conveyor housing has a reliable lubricated chain transmission and automatic longitudinal and vertical idlers, thus ensuring a continuous and even flow of product from the cutting header to the threshing components.
The long crop elevator, with large intake, is designed to improve the performance of the machine with a greater capacity, a smoother crop flow and the possibility of coupling with larger headers and offers the operator better visibility from the cab. A remarkable header lift capacity is guaranteed with the powerful lift cylinders.
It is composed of: a post-drum (REV drum) and an extension to the concave (REV segment) that can be adjusted to 3 different positions and is the ideal component when it comes to versatile and all-purpose use of the combine. The 20% increase in the separation surface, the augment of the winding angle to 120° and the delicate way the straw is conveyed to the straw walkers, are all decisive features that contribute to the effectiveness and success of Laverda’s M 200.
Versatility is key in the Agri-business of tomorrow. Farmers and contractors have to harvest many different crops, and with this they can adapt their machine to many different conditions in no time.
Laverda recognizes this important need and have developed our new Optional Sectional Concave, available on request. You can change from small to large grain size simply replacing the front half of the main concave with no need to remove the front elevator. It is designed to harvest any kind of crop in any condition, going through wheat, barley, rape, sunflower, maize, soya and many other different crops.
The Sectional Concave will reduce the conversion time of your combine from hours to minutes!
The sectional cleaning system, including closed straw walkers and high dividers on the grain pan and sieve system, prevents the material moving sideways on slopes. It makes sure the air pressure from the fan is distributed evenly. And therefore helps to increase the output.
Laverda’s long straw walker system achieves further active separation thanks to the exclusive design of the walker pans and steep steps. The generously sized grain pan prepares the “grain chaff” and is the start of the cleaning process before the material reaches the sieves and fan.
The HCD High Capacity Design adjustable sieves, with their special profile and opposing action (electrically operated available as option), are part of the standard equipment on the M 200 combine. They clean the grain to a high standard and make the whole process more efficient, thanks to their exclusive design.
The powerful fan with a differential flow rate has two air inlets at the sides and one at the top. In addition to cleaning the grain, these features guarantee superior performance and low fuel consumption in all crop conditions.
The new Comfort Cab fits in perfectly with the Laverda family look. It is designed to give the operator an ideal and productive working environment, fully air-conditioned, which unites excellent convenience to perfect comfort, even after many hours of work.
From his position the operator retains complete control of the vehicle thanks to large windows that offer excellent visibility, ergonomic design that inspires the entire interior from the rational positioning of the controls to their simple and intuitive utilization.
The new multifunction lever offers excellent ergonomics and intuitive use. Two fourway switches give full control of the header and the reel position.
The Elegance Cab is designed to give the operator an ideal and productive working environment, which unites excellent convenience to perfect comfort, even after many hours of work. The cab is equipped with a deluxe suspended seat, air conditioning and heating as standard. A new multifunction lever provides convenient and comfortable control of all the commonly-used combine functions.
On-board computer, a 2nd generation Agritronic Plus: the highly functional operator interface provides a clear visualization of various performance and efficiency parameters of the machine. Three separate modules and an equal number of displays keep you informed on the performance of your combine, how the components are functioning, the harvesting work and the way the cutting header adapts to the ground (Terra Control).
An additional module, available as option, allows the sieves adjustment directly from the cab as well as a visual display of the returns volume.
Available with a 52-bladed rotor, Laverda’s straw chopper efficiently chops the straw thanks to the regulating serrated counterblades and the characteristic adjustable dimpled base plate and it is available as optional. It is activated by a hydraulic mechanism and can be used for all crops. If the straw is to be baled, Laverda’s straw chopper can be deactivated by simply moving the deflector which disengages it.
To ensure effective distribution of the residues from the sieves, Laverda offers another important accessory: the chaff spreader, which can be quickly adjusted to suit crop conditions. Chaff is spread in an efficient manner thanks to the twin fan action.
To get the very most out of the M 200 combine and M 180 combine, we have chosen the new emission level stage IV Agco Power engines designed for low fuel consumption, maximum economy and long life expectancy.
These engines have SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology, which reduce atmospheric emissions without any negative effects on operations and maintenance, just a more efficient fuel use and therefore reducing operating costs.
